I found this grand old dame at a yardsale for $5. People around me thought I was a bit daft racing to her side and guarding her with my body. But I had vision.
I removed her outdated bulbs, sprayed on a new, fresh dress, added more modern bulbs and then hung her in a place of honor in my home. I didn't have a ceiling medallion as would be befitting of such a grand old lady, so I used some old book pages and decopagued them to the ceiling. Easy and cute!
