Screen Saver

Here's the beginning of a project I started several weeks back.  I bought this frame for $3 at a yard sale.

It only had one of the six hang bars for the panels so I had to decide how to fix that problem.  When Gareld went to Portland a couple weeks ago I asked him to check Home Depot for some rods that would work. He got some for me and cut them to fit.  Today I added the burlap panels and now it is ready for the spring show.  It turned out quite cute....it's something I would buy and use.

Burlap Wreath

I found this metal ring at a yard sale last weekend and immediately thought it would make a cute wreath.

I circled the entire ring with burlap strips but it was too plain.

Flowers to doll it up! Now it is ready for the spring show coming up May 12.

I sure love old postcards and usually the back is as interesting as the front.

Look out, Shows Ahead

Busily crafting for upcoming shows. I stopped my scrap booking and cleared off my table so I could whip up some pillows. I also run down to the shop and paint. I'm painting this screen and plan to put burlap inserts in. Our next show is May 12 the Saturday before Mother's Day. I'll post the flyer when I get a copy. In the meantime I plan on keeping very busy.
